Operation Welcome Home is pleased with the participation of so many fine hospitality facilities. These organizations have stepped forward to offer special rates, activities or amenities to our veteran participants. Please review the listings below when considering where to stay for the Operation Welcome Home celebration. In order to receive the favorable rates, you MUST indicate that you are visiting the region for the Operation Welcome Home event.
Don Hall's Guesthouse
Conveniently located on the northwest side of Fort Wayne, off I-69 near many area attractions, and only 15 minutes from the Kruse facilities and Operation Welcome Home's "celebration central" in Auburn. The Guesthouse would like to extend a special rate of $69/single and $79/double occupancy for affiliates attending this celebration. Current hotel amenities include a restaurant and lounge with entertainment Tuesday-Saturday, courtesy shuttle service to the airport, a free continental breakfast or $3 off a breakfast entrée in our restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpool and exercise center. Hotel guests may enjoy dinner for $7 in the Guesthouse Grille by ordering one of our Chef's Select dinners, which include Hall's famous prime rib, steaks, seafood and chicken entrées. Clarion Hotel
The staff of the Clarion Hotel is honored to act as one of the host hotels for the Operation Welcome Home Celebration. The Clarion Hotel features 208 Deluxe Rooms: 28 Suites, 30 Leisure, 100 Double/Double and 50 Kings. Non-Smoking and 7 Handicap Rooms are available. One restaurant and one lounge: Pips, a casual pub to unwind after a long day. We are offering Operation Welcome Home attendees coming in July 2-7, 2008 the reduced rate of $81 for single/double occupancy per room per night, plus tax. Guestrooms are available for check-in at 3 p.m. or after. In the event a guest arrives early and the room is not available, a baggage storage area is provided. Checkout time is 12 p.m. Guests who need to remain in the hotel after checkout for any reason are asked to use our baggage storage area. We offer complimentary airport shuttle service for our guests. Please schedule our airport van in advance with the Front Desk at 206.422.5511. Transportation will be scheduled as close as possible to your arrival and departure. Hampton Inn & Suites
The Hampton Inn & Suites would like to offer the following "Special Rate" to Operation Welcome Home participants: Standard Double or King Room $89 (normally $109), King Suite $109 (normally $129). Our amenities include complimentary breakfast buffet with Hot Items, 24-hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, indoor pool and spa, exercise facility, 24-hour sweet shop, free wireless high-speed Internet, ESPN, CNN, SHOWTIME. All rooms feature coffee maker, hair dryer, and full size iron and ironing board. Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center
Located in the heart of Fort Wayne, the Hilton Fort Wayne is offering an Operation Welcome Home discounted group rate of $94/night based on single/double occupancy for your group. This is a discount of over $50! Rates and rooms are subject to hotel availability. Rates are net, non-commissionable and subject to applicable taxes (currently 13%). Guests will find that our attention to detail and outstanding customer service is evident from the moment they enter the exquisitely decorated lobby. Our hotel has been recognized as the "Best Bed in Town" by our local business journal and has received numerous Hilton awards for Customer Service Excellence. Econo Lodge
The Fort Wayne Econo Lodge is proud to participate in the Operation Welcome Home event and to have the opportunity to help thank the Veterans for their selfless dedication to our Country. We would like to extend a special discounted rate of $68.00 for single or double occupancy. The Econo Lodge is conveniently located off of Interstate I-69 at Exit 111B. All guest rooms are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. We are currently renovating all of our guestrooms. The renovation will be complete by the beginning of February 2008. All rooms will have new furniture, bedding, carpeting, vanities and wall treatments.
